Welcome to ette.design, the official website for the design and multimedia subsidiary of the band julie, operated by Macy Sitting, LLC (“Operator”). By accessing or using this website (including the website shopping carts you may access to purchase products from this website), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. To use the services provided by this website, you must be, and represent and warrant that you are, of legal age (18 years of age or older or otherwise of legal age in your jurisdiction, or, if you have parental consent, 13 years of age) and able to agree to these Terms.
1. Additional Terms
The Privacy Policy, incorporated herein by reference, explains how Macy Sitting, LLC, its members, employees, and affiliates may collect, use and disclose information that we learn about you as a result of your interaction with us through this website. The Privacy Policy constitute a part of these Terms and are hereby incorporated by reference into these Terms. By agreeing to these Terms, you are also accepting the terms of the Privacy Policy and of all other Additional Terms.
2. About This Website
ette.design offers both free and paid membership tiers:
- Free Tier: Requires email registration and provides access to certain visual and audio media content that is updated frequently.
- Paid Tier ($15.00/month): A monthly subscription that includes all Free Tier benefits plus a physical copy of our zine, “ette,” delivered to your address.
3. Intellectual Property & Content Ownership
All content on this website — including but not limited to music, audio recordings, videos, images, graphics, text, and the zine “ette” — is the exclusive property of Macy Sitting, LLC.
You may not:
- Copy, reproduce, distribute, or republish any content from this website
- Download, record, or capture any audio or visual media except where explicitly permitted
- Use any content for promotional and/or commercial purposes
- Modify, adapt, or create derivative works from our content
Unauthorized use of any content may result in termination of your account and may subject you to legal action.
4. Free Membership (Free Tier)
By signing up for a free account, you agree to provide a valid email address. We will use your email to:
- Provide access to members-only content
- Send updates about new content, releases, and announcements from julie
You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time, but a valid email is required to maintain your free membership.
5. Paid Subscription — “ette” Zine
What You Receive
Paid subscribers receive a physical copy of the zine “ette”, shipped to the address you provide periodically. The zine includes exclusive writings, photography, and goods from the band. It will provide frequent first looks for upcoming julie projects.
Billing
- Subscriptions are billed at $15.00 per month
- On the first of each calendar month, payment is processed automatically using the credit card on file
- You are responsible for keeping your payment and shipping information up to date
Shipping
- We ship internationally which may result in additional charges calculated at checkout.
- Delivery times vary depending on your location
- Macy Sitting, LLC is not responsible for delays caused by postal services, customs, or circumstances beyond our control
- If your zine is lost or damaged in transit, please contact us and we will work with you to find a solution
6. Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your paid subscription at any time.
However, to avoid being charged for the following billing period, you must cancel at least 24 hours before your monthly renewal date.
- If you cancel before your renewal date, your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period, and you will not be charged again.
- If you cancel after your renewal date has passed, you have already been charged for that month and your subscription will remain active until the end of that final billing period.
To cancel, visit your Account section, go go to Subscriptions, click ‘the view’ button and cancel your membership. If you still need assistance, email us at help@ette.design.
7. No Refunds
All subscription payments are non-refundable.
If you wish to stop your subscription, you may cancel at any time following the cancellation policy above, but no refunds will be issued for any payments already processed.
8. Account Responsibility
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account login information
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Ensuring your payment and shipping details are accurate and current
If you believe your account has been compromised, please contact us immediately.
